Snasha Origin: Germany
Appearance Features:
The Mini-Snasha is a very unique breed. It has a broad and sturdy body, a coarse grayish-white coat, a rectangular head covered with thick eyebrows like an elder’s, and a particularly full mustache, giving it a strange yet adorable appearance. Although small in size, it is short and lean, with powerful movements, and only a small part of its tail remains. The area from the top of his head to the rounded, blunt tip of his nose only slightly slopes downward, and the thick beard-shaped mouth and face form his distinctive Snasha look.
Coat color:
It has hard upper hairs and densely packed lower hairs. Its coat color is either salt-gray (salt & pepper colour), but black and black-silver are also available.
Snasha’s personality:
Miniature Schnauzer is a natural mischievous expert and a source of family joy. Mini Snasha has a big beard like a haystack, a silly long face, and a pair of big, passionate elf eyes full of hope and excitement, as if ready to bring you endless energy and joy at any moment. But in reality, his carefree demeanor goes against his tenacious Germanic heritage and conceals his stubborn loyalty to his master.
Standard body type:
The standard form of the Mini-Snasha is about 12-14 inches tall from the prominent part between the shoulder bones to the toes, and weighs about 13-15 pounds.
Snasha’s average lifespan:
12-15 years
Family Background / Checking Residences:
Mini-Schnauzer descends from the modern Schnauzer family, with members including the Standard Schnauzer and the Giant Schnauzer.
Originating in Germany in the 15th century, it was created by crossing a standard Snasha with another small dog, then kept indoors, and after long-term improvement, it developed into its current form. It was not until the nineteenth century that their body shape became stabilized. Besides the miniature Snasha, there is also a large Snasha, but the ancestors of the two breeds are not the same.
The Standard Snasha is a breed of the German Poodle, Gray Wolf Spitz, and German Pinscher and is a capable ranch guard dog.
The giant Snasha is bred by the standard Snasha with several nearly extinct herding dogs and black Great Danes.
The Miniature Schnasha is a breed of the standard Schnasha and Lionhair Dog (an Affenpinscher breed with the intelligence, bravery, and strong obedience of the Yorkshire Terrier). Mini Snasha inherits the excellent bloodline of his ancestors, possessing both courage and a talent for guarding. Don’t underestimate his ability to catch mice.
