No rendered meals
While rendered ingredients such as chicken meal, turkey meal or lamb meal are a very good, economical source of concentrated protein, RAWZ believes dehydrated chicken is better. RAWZ uses only dehydrated chicken as its natural concentrated protein source. Their dehydrated chicken has a higher P.E.R. (Protein Efficiency Ratio) than rendered meals. It is gently cooked at much lower temperatures, which helps preserve the proteins and amino acids and keeps the protein in a more natural state.
