A furry kid’s poo and wee are the most direct way to see how healthy they are; in fact, if a cat or dog has soft stool, it may mean there’s something wrong with their digestive system.
Possible causes include:
– A problem with the digestive/internal organ system
– Eating too many treats
– Eating the wrong things
– Being emotionally troubled
The most common one is probably this: because dogs and cats are naturally short of enzymes in their saliva, their ability to digest grains is limited, and cats have a naturally weaker digestive system. Besides the simple but essential habit of feeding them small, frequent meals, maintaining the level of beneficial bacteria in their digestive system is also very important. So they need prebiotics and probiotics to help them digest; when digestion is good, nutrients are naturally absorbed better, which is of definite help to their overall health!
Prebiotics, put simply, are food for probiotics.
