How do I choose between the slow-stewed pure-broth can and the snack can?
The pure-broth can is made up of 99% pure broth + 1% fine shredded meat. Both the pure-broth can and the snack can are complementary foods, and both need to be paired with a nutritious staple diet on a daily basis.
If your furry child usually only likes to drink the broth and does not like to eat the meat when having a complementary can, or if you are worried that the meat in the snack can is too high in calories or too filling, we recommend the pure-broth can as a daily hydration complementary can; if your furry child likes to eat meat and you want to give them a filling late-night snack / reward, we recommend the snack can as a hydration option!
How is the broth in the pure-broth can made?
WangMiao’s slow-stewed pure-broth cans are produced using fresh meat chunks and slow-simmered for 6 hours, fully extracting the essence and delicious flavour of the meat, so even without meat chunks there is plenty of aroma, and it tastes great even without seasoning!
Why can I sometimes see dark sediment and tiny particles in the broth of the pure-broth can?
WangMiao’s slow-stewed pure-broth cans use fresh meat chunks that are slow-simmered, and during production they are gently stirred so that the meat chunks and fish skin break down naturally. In order to fully retain the aroma and nutrition of the broth, the shredded meat is not completely strained out, so it is normal for the broth to contain dark, tiny shreds or bits of meat.
Why is the colour of the pure-broth can a little dark? Is it too concentrated?
WangMiao’s slow-stewed pure-broth cans have “no added artificial gums & flavourings”, and are produced using fresh meat chunks slow-simmered for 6 hours. During production they are stirred and the meat chunks break down, so there will be some tiny shreds of meat. In order to retain the full aroma of the broth, the shredded meat is not completely strained out, which is why it has a slightly dark texture. Pet parents, please do not worry that it is too concentrated!
Why is the texture of the pure-broth can so thick?
While developing the pure-broth can, WangMiao discovered that the reason cats dislike water, apart from it having no taste, is that when drinking water it “easily splashes onto their mouth and whiskers”, creating a sense of aversion.
