Reishi (Ling Zhi)

According to the most famous pharmacological classic, the “Shennong Ben Cao Jing”, Reishi is ranked at the very top of the “superior medicines”. Chinese medicinal materials are graded into three classes: superior, medium and inferior. The “superior medicines” are also known as divine medicines, that is, medicines for nurturing life. Even when taken over a long period they have no side effects at all, and they can immediately adjust and normalise the constitution, often producing remarkable results against serious illness. The immune system holds enormous latent power, enough to clear away all invaders (bacteria) or mutated cells. Dietary therapy is immunity therapy: boosting immunity to achieve a range of preventive and curative effects.

Multi-Protection for Joints Hyaluronic Acid + Glucosamine HCL + Chondroitin work together to give joints all-round care. In dogs with degenerative arthritis (ageing joints or congenital hereditary defects), hyaluronic acid is metabolised faster than in a normal body, so the concentration of hyaluronic acid in the synovial fluid drops sharply, reducing its protective effect on the joints. Hyaluronic Acid (HA), also known as hyaluronan, is a natural mucopolysaccharide. Its molecules are extremely small and twisted in shape, so it passes easily through cell membranes and can carry over 500 times its own weight in water, 16 times that of collagen. Extra virgin wild coconut oil, made from freshly shredded mature coconuts and high-density filtered, with no additives or adulteration. Its main components are medium-chain saturated fatty acids, which are extremely easy to digest: they need no bile to break them down and no pancreatic digestive enzymes or insulin to be digested, so they produce energy directly and boost metabolism, helping cells expel waste and toxins and improving the body’s condition. Completely free of cholesterol and trans fat (TransFat). Contains 50% lauric acid (Lauric Acid C12), which suppresses most disease-causing bacteria, viruses and moulds and boosts immunity (ordinary cooking oils contain 0% lauric acid).
