Adult cats can be fed once or twice daily, or free-fed if preferred. When you first start feeding Natural Balance Ultra Proteinfood, we recommend starting with the amount suggested in the table.
Kittens should be free-fed, at up to twice the feeding amount of an adult cat of the same weight, to promote healthy growth and appropriate weight gain. To encourage eating, newly weaned kittens can be offered food moistened with warm water.
Pregnant and nursing queens will eat more, up to 4 times an adult cat’s daily requirement, and should be free-fed.
The amounts in the table are for reference only. Energy requirements vary with environmental conditions, temperature, age and the cat’s activity level. Food amounts should be adjusted regularly to maintain ideal body condition.
For less active and older cats, we recommend reducing food intake to maintain ideal body condition.
Store in a cool, dry place. Provide fresh drinking water at all times.
