How is the new WangMiao Plant-Based Enzyme Dish Soap different from the old version? The new formula cleans better, and the packaging has been changed to an opaque material for better preservation!
1. The new formula contains a six-in-one enzyme blend that speeds up the breakdown of saliva and the fats, proteins and starches in food; it also adds an olive-oil surfactant made from “ECOCERT-certified” natural ingredients that quickly lifts away grease. Because this ingredient is itself yellow, the new dish soap takes on a faintly yellow colour!

Is the WangMiao Plant-Based Enzyme Dish Soap formula ocean-friendly?
At present Taiwan has no precise definition or standard for ocean-friendly dish soap, but the ingredients in WangMiao dish soap’s new formula are all chosen from plant-based, organic sources, the surfactant is “ECOCERT-certified”, and it contains absolutely no phosphates, chlorides or other ingredients harmful to marine ecosystems.
Why is the WangMiao Plant-Based Enzyme Dish Soap a pale yellow colour?
The new formula uses an ECOCERT-certified olive-oil surfactant, which is itself yellow, so the new dish soap takes on a pale yellow colour!
The WangMiao Plant-Based Enzyme Dish Soap has turned whitish — can it still be used normally? This is normal and does not affect quality, so pet parents can rest assured!
Natural ingredients in the plant-based dish soap, such as coconut-oil and olive-oil surfactants, cause the dish soap to turn whitish as the ambient temperature drops. This does not affect its performance, so pet parents can rest assured. (In WangMiao’s own tests, leaving it in a room above 7°C restores it to its original colour!)
